AGENCY DIRECTOR
ALASKA METROPOLITAN

Alaska!Alaska Metropolitan has been in Second Life since June of 2005. She is better known for the OPIUM range of fashion products in the virtual world, including OPIUM Addictive Fashion, OPIUM Everyday, and SKIN 2.0.

Alaska keeps a personal blog called My Virtual World that is popular not only for information on upcoming fashion releases, but for tutorials and marketing advice. She has also contributed articles on fashion marketing to Second Style.

In the Fall of 2007 Alaska launched Metro Models to offer her marketing experience to the rest of the fashion community.

Alaska is an award-winning graphic designer in First Life. She was also a high fashion model in the past and coordinated as well as participated in runway shows. She lives in Canada.

 

 

 


ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
DELILAH KARAS

Delilah!(Please note Delilah is on extended leave from Second Life.)

Delilah is a relative newcomer to Second Life, with a rez day in June of 2007. She quickly became immersed in the virtual fashion world as a model and blogger.

Delilah writes her own blog at Style Schmyle, covering different looks and styles, favourite designers, and more.

She has been in numerous fashion shows and has modelled for Adam and Eve, Analog Dog, Nicky Ree, and Second Style Magazine. Delilah also contributes to the METRO Virtual Fashion publication.

When not involved in fashion, Delilah enjoys building and is working on a prefab business.

 

 

 


STAFF WRITER
CRONOCLOUD CREEGGAN

CC!CronoCloud joined Second Life in July of 2006 and took an immediate liking to the world of virtual fashion. She is noted primarily for her love of classic and retro style, auburn hair, and vast collection of Tete A Pied/Fleur skins.

CronoCloud has written for the late Pixel Pinup Online, is a contributer to the Metro blog and to Linden Lifestyles, and has her own blog entitled CronoCloud Creeggan, Virtual Fashionista.

Her other skills and hobbies in Second Life include shopping and scripting. First Life obsessions include watching America's Next Top Model, makeup, and shoes.

 

 

 

 

 


MAGAZINE MARKETING & ADVERTISING MANAGER
ARABESQUE BAROQUE

Arabesque!Arabesque has been in Second Life for 18 months. Her Real Life alterego is a marketing professional with experience in the field of image consulting. She enjoys Second Life for the varied opportunities it presents for self-expression, and has a particular interest in personal style.

Find Arabesque's personal Blog at arabaroque.wordpress.com. She also contributes to our own Metro Models blog on a regular basis. Photoshop is still on her wishlist to add value to the visual elements.

Arabesque has experience in both photographic and runway modeling and enjoys this when she can find the time, despite the challenges presented by her graphics card!

As well as writing some articles for Metro Virtual Fashion, Arabesque also manages the advertising side of things for our magazine. NEMI MCCOY

Nemi!"I have modeled since 2005, with many agencies. My first agency was Dove Vogue, closely followed by BC Models and Le Cadre Models. I have run several agencies for both malls and designers and consulted about runway and show management for MAD Agency.

I have been with Metro since its inception and with Alaska since she began her OPIUM line. I was an OPIUM model as well. I am now in my 4th year of SL... loving it and modeling and enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places. I enjoy mentoring and value friendships."

 

 

 

 

 

 


PORTFOLIO & IMAGE MANAGEMENT
VALENA GLUSHENKO

Valena!Valena joined Second Life in November '06, and became a virtual shopaholic not long after. After many months raiding stores across the grid, she opened her own jewelry store, Diamonde, in September '07.

She models with a number of agencies, independently with designers such as Paper Couture and has had the opportunity to model for magazines including Metro Virtual Fashion and Second Style.

With the rest of her time on the grid, Valena enjoys photography, particularly beauty and fashion work, and model folios. She also shares fashion blog The Lady and the Tramp with partner-in-crime, Rachelle Slade.
